how we have grown. it makes us proud that we are among the world's centres of economic growth now. after a lot of decades of slow achievement, all the backward classes and the oppressed classes are well on their way to becoming a part of the mainstream. we stand united today as a democracy. we have sent the forces of religious fundamentalism to the opposition. thank you mr chowla for providing us a few glimpses of our tough journey. it is good to realise that you have come out of your pit of negative self-defeatism.

i think the governance system which India inherited from the British were corrupted in the first place...

So the base line has to be corrected first!

Great pics !...very inspiring. Thanks for sharing with us.

We indeed feel proud of our leaders in past , like- Dr Rajendr Prasad , Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri , Dr Radha Krishnan et al .

Unfortunately today a corrupted lot is coming into politics.

I have never seen Shastriji's capless face, until now. I consider him as the most efficient, sincere leader/PM, we had until now.

First flag? Nice.

All photographs are really rare ones, thank you, Chowlaji!
